REVERSE_LOOP_SWEATER is worked top down. First, stitches are cast on for the back of the neck, which is then continued back and forth with increases to shape the top part of the back panel. The increases are worked to create an eyelet pattern along the edge of the shoulder.

Following that, stitches are picked up along the shoulder seam, and the shoulders are worked individually back and forth. The 2 shoulders are then joined by casting on stitches to form the front panel. The front and back panels are then joined, and the body worked in the round on a circular needle. Short rows are worked on the body where the stitch pattern changes from reverse stockinette to stockinette, to reduce the number of purl stitches that need to be worked. The body is finished with a wide border of purl stitch. 

Neckline stitches are picked up and worked in rib stitch. The neck hem is folded double and knitted down. Finally, sleeve stitches are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round. Short rows are worked where the stitch pattern structure changes, and the sleeves are finished with a wide border of purl stitch, as on the body.
